Fun on the farm for kids

Australia’s rising agricultural star who is everyone’s mate, George the Farmer, is resonating with young children in rural locations, while inspiring city based children to have a better understanding and connection to agriculture which is imperative for an equitable and sustainable food supply chain in to the future.

After an incredible 80 live performances at the Sydney Royal Easter Show, George and mates – Simone and Ben – barely had time to dust off their hats before they set off for Queensland to attend the amazing Felton Food Festival.

The schedule includes performances in Canberra and Alice Springs followed by a series of free shows on home soil in the Limestone Coast of South Australia.

George the Farmer was created in regional South Australia by Simone Kain and Ben Hood. Having both grown up on farming properties they’re passionate about connecting children to the land and educating them about the great food and fibre that innovative farmers produce for us all.
