Women in agriculture will dig deep into money issues and learn how to keep better track of their finances at the third annual Rural Women Uncovered seminar this September 2016.
Among the guest speakers appearing at the two-day event are Zoe Lamont, founder of 10Thousand Girl (a social enterprise offering money makeover programs), Carol Corbey from Morgans Stockbrokers, and Alicia Cain, co-founder of start-up business Dad’s Oats.
Each speaker will tackle a topic all women in the rural sector can identify with – keeping track of money and growing an agricultural business.
Health will also be a focus, with the Cancer Council giving personal consultation and screening before the event, and McGrath Foundation CEO Tracey Evans giving an address on the importance of breast health.
A Thursday night networking dinner will feature Agriculture Minister Jaala Pulford as the special guest.
The Minister, who has committed to re-establishing the Rural and Regional Women’s Network, will give an update on this important project.
The Rural Women Uncovered forum, spanning two days at the Ramada Resort, Phillip Island, is about exposing the potential of women in agriculture and presents an opportunity for guests to learn, network, and share ideas and opinions.
This event, at the Ramada Resort Phillip Island on Thursday September 8 and Friday September 9 2016, is open to all rural women and we encourage you to come along and share ideas, meet new faces and learn something along the way.
